The time is almost upon us when we get to blast out some GREAT music at what we consider to be THE finest British Hi-Fi show on the calendar at the North West Audio Show 2025.
So here are a few details on what to expect….
What we are playing…
As some of you may have noticed over the last fifteen years or so we have become huge fans of valve based Hi-Fi systems, and our product range has reflected that too, with us stocking brands such as Puresound, Audion, Heco, Klipsch and Leben. But we also have a real love for all things Audio Note, so this year we will be bringing along a full Audio Note Hi-Fi system for you to have a listen to – consisting of both digital and analogue sources. We have been testing this system all week and it is starting to sound really spectacular. We can’t wait for you to hear it!
Our Special Guest….
We are delighted to say that the legendary Bob Harris will be joining Audiocounsel in the Curie suite on Saturday 21st to have a listen to the full Audio Note system, and to share with us a few select records from his own collection, and maybe give us a few stories about his experiences with those artists throughout his life and career.
He will be sitting in with us for two one-hour sessions at 12noon, and then again at 3pm.
Here are the details…
- The North West Audio Show 2025 will be held at DeVere Cranage Estate in Cheshire over the weekend of Saturday 21st June and Sunday 22nd June.
- It is FREE to attend!!
- Our room will be open from around 9.30am til 6pm each day. (We are in the Curie Suite)
- We will be playing a varied selection of both vinyl and CD throughout the weekend – so don’t worry if you don’t like the classical piece we might be playing when you walk in, give it a few minutes and we’ll be likely playing something wildly different. Black metal you say? Sure!
What else is on?
Great question – we are glad you asked. Well, both Dave and Jimmy will be on hand playing some great music for you all – and will also be available to chat (preferably outside the room if you want to pick our brains on something or catch up!). Other than that:
- The North West Record Fair – boasting over 30 vendors!
- Live Music from the Tempus Bar downstairs each day from 1pm.
- There will be a few incredible historic PA systems and desks playing in the courtyard – from Pink Floyd’s 1971 Dark Side of the Moon rig, to David Bowie’s Ziggy Stardust 1973 system!
